Size the socks according to the child's age and shoe size. Children age 0 to 9 months old with a shoe size of 0 to 3 wear an infant size. Children 9 to 24 months old with a shoe size of 3 to 8 wear a toddler size. Children age two to four years old with a shoe size of 8 to 13 wear a child size. Many of our youth sizes end at size 4Y. In these cases, you can find the next size up in our adult category starting with size 5U (adult unisex). Note that measurements differ slightly for sizes that overlap on both our youth and adult sizing charts because the youth chart accounts for growing room and the adult chart does not.

The American, British and Australian sizes are based on the age of the child, while in Europe the size is based on the child’s height in centimeters. Some US sizes include a “T”, which stands for toddler.

Shoe Size Conversion - Youth to Women's and Youth to Men'sYouth footwear products are based on Men's sizing, regardless of gender (boys, girls, or unisex).
A Youth 6Y is the same as a Men's size 6.
Men's and Youth sizing can be converted to Women's by adding 1 1/2 to the size. For example
a Youth size 4 is equal to a Women's size 5 1/2.
