What Do You Guys Do, Anyway?
You register for our adult recreational social sports leagues by yourself, with a friend, a small group of friends/coworkers who want to stay together, or a full team. We place you on a team for a recreational sports league that runs 6 or 8 weeks, plus a week of playoffs for eligible teams. You don’t have to have any prior sports experience, but you do need to know how to have FUN. After the games, we head on down to the sponsor bar for discounts, laughter and good times.
Will I Really Meet Cool People?
We’re not ones to brag, but we get calls and postcards from couples who met in our leagues and married. We even had a dodgeball-court proposal once. We’re not a singles club, but we are a great way to meet new people – whether you’re looking to make friends, network, just play sports, or for something more . . . so set your DVR to record This is Us and get yourself registered to play some volleyball, kickball, soccer, softball, cornhole, flag football, basketball, dodgeball and more.

Eastern Maine Hoops is proud to announce the Placement/Tryout times for Club Teams in the Bangor Area. The EM Hoops program is directed by Lenny Holmes of Maine Hoops and Mark Leclerc of MAC. They have been involved in 'AAU' club basketball for well over a decade and know what it takes to bring Maine Basketball Players to the next level.
EM Hoops Skills Session are Run by Professional Coaching Staff.
